Dogs name help

Can you help! We’ve had a puppy two weeks and can’t name him! I think we’ve talked about it too many times now we’ve all got confused. Front runners are Ruffles (ruffy/ruff ruff) Wally and truffle. But open to others! Help!

If you really liked any of those, you'd have named him by now.
What sort of names do you like? My dogs have all had human names.
What breed/colour is he? That might inspire a name.

We need a pic of the little guy to help. Dog tax and all that. 🙂

Well I like ruffles and my husband likes Wally! So that’s how we got stuck! And then I told a few people we were going with ruffles but felt like it got a strange reaction…. I thought truffles was a compromise that leaned more my way! Ha ha!

He’s a red labradoodle.

How about Rusty? would go well with his colouring.

How about Waffle - a mixture of both of the names you like!

Ralphie?

Raffles? Sounds better than Ruffles - Raff, Raffi...

Or Rufus?

Another vote for Waffle as a compromise....
But you can only use it once puppy tax in form of a cute picture has been paid.

Ruffles is great! And Woofles lol … we met a Mr Noodles on a dog walk too he was cute. Foxy?

Whatever you name him you’ll call him alsorts else anyway.
mine’s called Ralphie but I usually call him Puppy, Pudding, puppy pup pup, knobby, or mummy’s little perfect pud pud 😆😆😁

I like Rufus or Rory as they suggest red to me. You could just call him Red.
I met a lab called Jackpot today - the owner said she felt she had hit it with him.

Anyway, we really need a picture to be sure.

There is a risk of horrified looks if you say "Roger the Dog" at a family gathering, as it may be taken as an invitation. 😳
