My daughter has been very tactile with our cat since we got them as a kitten in April 2024. She's suddenly started getting hives on her face after she pets them. No previous issues at all. She also gets hives when she eats peanuts. The hives dont bother her, but obviously are cause for concern.
When we went to the docs with the peanut allergy they just said she will likely grow out of it, and to keep microdosing if its not causing her a major problem. She will be 3 in Feb.
Has anyone any experience with similar? Does the cat need to be an outdoor only cat? Is it possible to manage it? Might she grow out of it?
