OK, so first of all I realise if we get one we actually need 2. I would get them from a rescue.

I quite fancied having them as house rabbits but dh said no way.

I'm looking at hutches and runs, how big should I be getting? We'd be getting fairly small rabbits like lionheads. Would the run/hutch combo need moving round the garden fairly frequently?

thanks.

Yes, I do realise it will be me taking responsibility for them. I had rabbits when I was 7 and although it was mainly my dad who cleaned them out (we had a very heavy hutch/run that I couldn't get into), I had to be there holding the bucket. I intend to make dd stand there and hold the bucket as well!

To be fair to her she loves cleaning the chickens out - so much so that she tells me off if she catches me cleaning them out without telling her.

get a hutch big enough for them and make the run as large as possible. it needs to be moved to a fresh patch of grass as soon as the current patch starts looks a bit worn.
