Humping Rabbit

Bought male brothers beginning of the week. All going really well, settling in nicely. I went to the vets to enquire about neutering as soon as possible and was told the vet likes to wait until six months. And today… aggressive looking humping from one of them. Other one looked a bit put out but didn’t really react… But later did a bit.

They’re barely three months old… I’d say they need neutering ASAP before they have a proper fight. Is it normal to wait until they are six months?? Shall I find another vet?

Find a vet who commonly sees exotics, facebook bunny groups will be happy to recommend for your area. It might turn to fighting either way, the best bunny pairs are a neutered male and spayed female so you might have to prepare for the worst of them fighting anyway. Bunny groups will help with potential reintroductions if it goes south and how to source a bunwife if your bunnies don't get alonng

My two females carried on humping (well one of them) after the snip, it's often just their behaviour.
