Raw feeding dog, is it an issue?

Does anyone feed their dog raw food? I currently feed mine raw using ProDog Raw to minimise carbs due to reoccurring yeast ear infections.

However I’m currently pregnant and the vet advised me not to especially while pregnant & when the baby is here. I wash my hands thoroughly etc after feeding him, but unfortunately he’s a dog that always goes to lick people so now I’m worried when the baby is here he’ll pass on some bacteria and get them very sick.

Refer to Honeys Dog Food and ask to speak to a vet. They will assist you with absolutely no obligation to buy any of their foods. I have used them many times.

I have raw fed my dogs for 17 years and no one has ever got sick as a result.

For some reason, vets in general don't like raw feeding. When one of my dogs was admitted to the vet school, I had to pre-warn them she was raw fed, so they could take extra precautions when handling her.

Did the vet tell you you shouldn't be handling raw meat for humans too?

Just to clarify I’m NOT worried about the handling of the food.

im concerned about my dog having residue bacteria in his mouth from the raw food
