is it fair? she's been in for a year or so, but i think she'd have more fun outside

It depends. Could you give her a friend so that she isn't lonely? And what kind of housing were you thinking of? Could you maybe do a playhouse or a shed?

I have had indoor bunnies, too messy - and they went outside where they are perfectly happy. But, we provided them with a shed which my dh converted, built an attached run and they had the run of the garden most days - spoilt i know

So, yes it should be fine as long as you prepare well.

i have two females out there already, in separate cages as they fought (sisters).

not sure if i could put her with one of them, she's quite small and they're massive.

generally a male + a female get on better. you could get some (neutered) male companions for the seperated females as rabbits cannot live alone. you can keep her indoors but give her outdoors time during the day if the weather isn't too bad.
do the outdoor rabbits have runs as well?
