ok got the pet pass port what else do I need to know

The vets is flippen useless . I have tried ringing the defra people but they dont answer the phone . So do I need anymore paper work before we go and what do I need before we come back . Going to France if this makes any difference.

Hi paros! Apart from the passport you dont need to take anything with you, as far as I know. BUT 24 hours before you leave France your pet needs to be seen by a vet over there who gives tick and flea treatment (which is recorded in the pet passport).

I got stuck in France with my dog for a night 2 years ago as I was given wrong information by my vet and had been to the vet's only 12 hours previously not 24!
