Cat flap. Controlling entry AND exit.

We have a micro chip activated cat flap and one cat. She can go out only during timed periods but once out can come in at any time. (Won't let other cats in)

We are getting second rescue cat that needs to have much more restricted exit - if at all. We would want him to be able to get in at any time if he escaped.

I have seen one dual scan cat flap that will allow this BUT it's only got a small opening.

This one https://www.surepetcare.com/en-gb/pet-doors/dualscan-microchip-cat-flap

Any suggestions or models with a half decently sized door?

Thanks

Keep intruder cats out and choose which of your cats are allowed access to the outside using the cat flap’s DualScan microchip reading technology.

What size is your current one?

What size is your current one?

The actual opening is approx 170mm square.

This dual scan one is 142 mm wide and 120 mm tall - guinea pig size!

I have the cat flap you linked OP - bought for similar reasons. It was the only one I could find with the features I needed. Like you, I was concerned about the small size, but even my most substantial cat manages to get in and out.
