Medivet payment plan

Hi All,

Has anyone set up a payment plan with Medivet after a huge vet bill?

On Wednesday we took our cat in for some mouth issues, the original quote was well within our insurance limit, however they then found he had a diaphragmatic hernia and needed operating on straight away. Now on a 3 night hospital stay our vet bill has since tripled and our £4k insurance cover does not cover it. So just wondering if anyone has asked Medivet to put a payment plan in place?

I've no idea about Medivet, but most vets don't do payment plans. It's surely better to take out a loan and set up payment installments with that?

Sorry, just to add, I hope your lovely cat gets better soon. A diaphragmatic hernia is serious stuff.
