I cleaned my 3 hamsters and 3 cages out yesterday but already I can smell them when I walk near them. Why are they so smally as they never used to be?

Maybe they are maturing, this makes them smell. As does the menopause . I'm sorry, I couldn't resist.

One is 18 months, one is 11 months and one is about 6 months I think.

My friend warned me of this when I got my hampster, she said they smell when they mature. Have you checked their tails? Wet tail can make them smell aswell.

You have to take them to the vets if there's a problem with their tail. Is it really wiffy? Ours is only 4 months so we have this to look forward to.

Oh, this is really about hamsters. I thought it may be code for something.

No code, it really is about my smelly hamsters.

Haven't checked the tails yet as they are all asleep. Lucky things.
