We were adopted by a cat a month ago.
We didn’t feed her to begin with but she turned up one day with a deep facial wound so after a vet visit where we discovered she is not chipped, we had to add antibiotics to her food for 5 days. Now she is waiting every morning to be fed.

She is a lovely cat who sleeps on our terrace ( she doesn’t like being in our house).
At the end of the month we are away for a few days and need to leave some food.
We need to dispense at least one meal a day.

Suggestions for automatic dispensers gratefully received.

Your options really are battery powered then, or you can get gravity feeders which just refill the bowl when empty

Leave out a big bowl of food and test if she self regulates her food or if she will eat until it's gone.

If she is good at only eating what she needs then get a gravity feeder. I have a few set up around my house and they only need refilling once a week. I never have to worry about being home in time for feeding and can do spontaneous overnights away from home without worrying. I have a water fountain too.

This is a good one we bought recently. It will work off mains power too with backup batteries.
