Did I overreact

First time cat owner

Had my beautiful girls since November, rescued from a home with over 15 other cats (all not neutered!!)

Grew up with cats etc. But first time I've been the owner.

Wednesday the more runty one seemed lethargic, she's not eaten since at least Thursday A.M.

Booked her a vets appointment this morning for tomorrow, but something told me she needed to go today as I watched her earlier.

Vet has now admitted her for 48 hours, for IV fluids, feeding tube, scans and blood tests.

£1300 later 🙈 whilst I'm super relieved I have insurance. I'm just wondering, did I overreact? Vet couldn't see anything obvious causing her to be like this

. She's usually a ball of energy chasing her sister in zoomies around the house, before sleeping wherever she lands, barging in on us in the bathroom, and being absolutely adorable mainly.

I'm just second guessing myself I guess. I hate the fact I might be putting her through unnecessary stress by being away from her sister/us etc.

And just because she's the cutest thing ever, photo attached.

A vet wouldn’t admit her for no reason so, as she’s not her usual self, they must also have concerns.
I hope she’s going to be okay Flowers
Edited to add they are such cuties.
