My sons hamster died a few weeks ago and looking to get him a new pet for his birthday coming up
i was looking at an axolotl but think they need a quite a large tank and are quite hard to get set up
Now toying with the idea of a praying mantis but would like some advice and other ideas
no rabbits hamsters etc. I’m the one that has to clean them out 😂

A corn snake? How To Care For a Corn Snake | RSPCA - RSPCA - rspca.org.uk. They are low maintenance once you're set up, look cool and typically like being held.

DS (14) has had a bearded dragon for the last 4 years- it's really sociable and easy to clean out.

I do however find it's diet a bit challenging! 😅

😂😂 No way would I buy an 8 year old a bearded dragon - definitely don’t want crickets and locusts running around the house as they escaped whilst said 8 year old was trying to feed it! 😬😬
