I have 2 staffy cross sharpis one is 13 years old and blind so we stopped walking them but our other dog male has put on a ton of weight but he is very spoilt he just has to sook and my partner gives into him and feeds him whatever he wants even unhealthy foods they have both human and animal food and unhealthy foods in-between meals im planning on walking him again because he doesn't pee like a male dog anymore but can anyone help with a diet food plan menu please

Go see your vet practice - both of you, your partner needs to understand too. The vet nurses will run some sort of weight clinic and it’s usually free or cheap. They will tell you what weight and condition score the dog is now and what he should be. They are likely to recommend a prescription diet food if he has a lot to lose - low calories but still with the nutrients he needs (either high fibre or high protein). The nurse will work out a calorie allowance for 1-2% Weightloss a week. Feed less, walk more. You will literally knock years off your dog’s life by allowing him to become obese.

"can anyone help with a diet food plan menu please"
Your vet practice might have nurse led obesity clinics which can help with this.

" he doesn't pee like a male dog anymore"
I'd bet the mortgage he has arthritis in the back end somewhere. Practically every mammal including us that lives long enough gets arthritis and I'd be very surprised if a 13yo Staff/Shar Pei doesn't. Both those breeds can commonly have stifle (knee) problems, and taking all the weight on one dodgy hind leg for the time it takes to pee is too much for them. Not to mention the external rotation required in the hip joint to roll the lifted leg up and out to pee. I'd get both dogs checked out by the vet.

thank you for your help I think he has something wrong with his back left hip because he kicks his leg out a few times like it's having a spasm he's roughly about 10 or 11 years old now and we have had him since he was a puppy both our dogs loved walking everywhere every day but it's really different having a 13 -14 year old dog who is blind now I have never had a pet for this many years but I just brought a harness and leash for my older dog so then we can start walking our other pet dog again
