Transport Dog from Scotland to Midlands….

Mama0ftw0 · 06/02/2025 12:21

Hello all

I don’t suppose anyone knows / ideas to get my Dog from Scotland to the Midlands end March / April time.
One way journey as I will have a car to come back up - Family member.

Currently I don’t drive.

I know in some places there are Pet Transport companies that help.

Thanks in advance

As in transporting them solo? Would it not be cheaper to buy someone you know in that area a return train ticket to travel with the dog?

PaintDecisions · 06/02/2025 12:24

Just go by train?

Mama0ftw0 · 06/02/2025 12:27

Thank you both.

The Sleeper Train?
I had looked at the Sleeper Train from Inverness.

Any train, you can take the dog on a normal trip.

It says they even give you complimentary dog treats.

JimHalpertsWife · 06/02/2025 12:36

Why would it have to be the sleeper train?

Coffeeishot · 06/02/2025 12:36

Dogs can go on the normal train failing that see if any local dog walkers offer a dog taxi service they might take your dog.

Mama0ftw0 · 06/02/2025 13:24

Thank you very much all.
I will look at the train. I didn’t think of the normal train but I did look at the Sleeper.
