Puppy hernia

I am due to get a puppy and he has gone for his vet check, he has a hernia and one testicle.

the breeders was honest and updated me about the visit but I’m not sure what to do

any advice would be helpful

What type of hernia? Umbilical or inguinal.

Umbilical

Umbilical hernia may close by time pup is 6 months old, testicle also may yet appear. Only real concerns would be if you are choosing this pup for breeding as these can be inherited characteristics.
