Anyone know how much it costs to have a male rabbit neutered?

We want to get a friend for our lonely bunny, but have been recommended to have him "done" and then get a female. Does anyone know roughly how much this costs please?

You need to phone your local vets and see what they charge. £20 sounds like a bargain price to me if you can get it. Expect more like £45 upwards if you are anywhere near me.

i was quoted £50 in 2000 so i imagine it's about £100

Whereabouts are you, riven? I can't believe any vet can make a living from charging £27 for what is, after all, a surgical procedure under general anesthesia involving at least two highly trained people.
