Hi everyone,

as this is what I think might be my daughters last year believing in Santa, I have decided to make it even more special for her, I have decided to get her a puppy of her own as she has been asking for some time now for a puppy.

I have found a breeder who seems really good, I have received 3/4 pictures of the puppy at 2 weeks old but still not been invited to meet him, he is now 6 weeks old this week and I’m starting to panic, I have been a bit of a pest messaging once every week to see if anything is mentioned about visiting but still no mention, although breeder has been contacting back, is this normal? How many weeks are you able to visit the puppies usually?

I am maybe just panicking a bit too much, thank you in advacnce for any answers though.

Why don’t you just ask when you can visit?

The breeder had originally said she would get us over to visit when they are or their paws and stuff but I have been reading that by now they should be, I’m not actually sure why I haven’t asked this tbh, I suppose I think I’m just being a nuisance 🤦🏼‍♀️

A puppy for a child for Christmas -what could possibly go wrong 🤦🏼‍♀️

Have you met the parents? Is it an actual breed? Where did you find the breeder?

Do you want a puppy? Does your whole family?
Have you thoroughly researched the breed to see if your lifestyle fits? If not are you prepared to make the necessary changes?
Do you have a plan for if you have to be out of the house for 4 hours or more (much less for the first year or so)? Holidays etc?
Please tell me there has been much more thought put into this than its your daughters last year believing in Santa

Well you should definitely be able to view at this age.
Do you have a dog already? Are you prepared for how hard a puppy is, especially at Xmas time when there is no routine?
