rusty the wonder pup

I've done it...i may need my head examined, but we've bought a cocker spaniel pup. He's being called rusty - yes I know - highly original and is very cute.

Now.....how long is it going to take me to house train him? he'll be 9 weeks old when he comes home. He is going to live in the garden room in the begining as it has a tiled floor and he will have a pen so we can keep tabs on him if need be.

what do i need for him? Has been so long since I last had a puppy.....

the children are beside themselves with excitement

about 1-2weeks is normal/good.

you need:

bed
bowls
food
collar./lead
flea stuff
wormer
crate?

thanks - that seems quite quick...hope it is that fast, but don't mind a few little accidents.

if only children were that quick too. DS2 is making slow progress on the potty training front

my ds2 (3yrs) is still ha ing accidents et the puppy is now (day2) going outside! sigh.......

I crate trained my puppy. Should have done that with the kids.
