My cousin, who I am close to, is due early next year, her first child. She lives with her husband, and both work full time. They have a large dog, that isn't aggressive, but unpredictable and very playful and needs a lot of attention. Because both work full time, the dog isn't getting enough attention as it should, and certainly exercise. People rarely go round to visit them because of the dog and its behaviour. Both struggle to handle the dog when it starts to go crazy.
Having raised my concerns with them both about that it is not an environment to bring up a baby, they seem to understand, and then do nothing. In fact, they dismiss any concerns from anyone who brings them up. Everybody is wrong in their opinion.
I cannot sleep with worry, and I know I am not on my own in the family that feel this way. What can I do ?
