best dog beds please

We have 2 border terriers and I have had a few different beds for them, what are the best sort ? They sleep in the kitchen at night, the floor is cold and hard, at the moment they are sleeping on 2 pillows that they have adopted, but the pillows get wet underneath from condensation, and therefore get smelly quickly, just dont know what to buy next.

we also have the plastic bed with a pillow in for each dog. they can curl up and it stops any drafts along the floor

I use Danish design duvets on hard kitchen floor for both dogs. Very comfy with washable fleece cover so no need to get smelly! costs from £25-£35 depending on size

You REALLY need a bed that is raised off the floor. unless the bed is really high anything will get damp. Arthritis is a real risk too in later years, from the hard, damp floor.

for our big dog i use the old mattress from dcs cotbed covered in half a single duvet cover (sewn and cut in two to make a cover and a spare).

oh sod it if you just search the item numbers, the best is the last one!
