We have a cat, willow, she’s aged 9. At about a year old we got her from a rescue service, and not only dies she never go out, she’s never shown any interest in going out. She’ll walk by open doors rather than risk the big bad outside. She has been to a local cattery, but the last time was over a year ago

in a months time we are having a complete bathroom refit including holes knocked in the wall (to move the toilet) should we put willow in the cattery for some/all of the two weeks it will take to spare her the noise, or would she be better at home apwith all her faMiler things?

How did she react to the Cattery before?

She came home very hungry and thirsty and didn’t have a poo for several days. She had food, water and a comfortable pen, but she wasn’t happy

We have house cats and when we had building work done we just kept them secured in one room would that be an option?

I always think it's so much nicer for them to be in their own house if possible.

That was our initial thinking, she’d be home evenings and nights when it would be quiet and during the day we’ll keep her to the living room/conservatory
