Husband letting 2 year old son approaching xl bullys

He loves dog and we have had staffies but I would never leave them alone with children because you just don't know something could spook them.

Was out with his parents and he casually mentions he lets our son pet XL bullys he mets in the park because the owner seems reasonable.

I know any dog can bite but with these dogs when it goes wrong it's fatal.

He is only doing it to prove a point. I only agreed for my son to spend time with dogs we are close with, know their owners and have spent time with my son from birth.

Would this effect his access to our son when we split?

If he has PR it’s not up to you to agree what he can and can’t do when he has his son.
affect his access how?

I think he's highly irresponsible

We don't have a formal agreement yet. My son lives with me and he sees him at the weekend. Sometimes says at the week when working from home. In the summer nights takes my son dog walking. But yes I do get only stuff like smoking, addiction, unsafe home etc. he doesn't want him overnight my son will only settle at night with me and he screams loud if not.

Maybe he’s saying it to wind you up

He is doing because he said they shouldn't be banned. He is way more direct. On the way home he mentioned he needed the loo and I said why didn't you go back at the pool. His reply was I don't have a old lady's bladder like you. I hadn't gone to the loo for nearly 5h and had two cups of tea in that time!

Due to the law I'm assuming the XL bully's are muzzled and on a lead?
If it makes you uncomfortable then put your foot down and ask him to stop. If he's a good dad he'll put his son first rather than doing something to 'prove a point' as you say

We tried buy he doesn't care, some I've seen not muzzled. Even with no bite they are big dogs and could hurt a child. I'm a big person I never sit down or turn in bed without checking where his little hands are.

If he has access to his child I don't think you can police what he does unless it's breaking the law.

He is trying to prove a point to you while putting your DC in danger. That's disgusting.
