URGENT HORSEY QUESTION????

How much would you expect to pay for a 14 year old 11.2hh Lead rein pony (shetland cross). Great with kids as a sit on horse but that is it? Not much schooling experience and has only been ridden 1-2 times a week for the last 3 years.

Don't know really, but i would hazard a guess somewhere between £250 and £500, especially if it has not really had much schooling.

sureitsno3 · 17/04/2008 14:07

Are you buying or selling?

Raffaella · 17/04/2008 14:07

That age and not a schoolmaster type then I'd pay no more than around the £400 mark.

pedilia · 17/04/2008 14:09

No more than £500 IMO

sophiewd · 17/04/2008 14:10

400-500, no more

marmadukescarlet · 17/04/2008 14:23

My 2 - who fit that bill in many - ways were free!

Really can't be much Shetland in it if it is 11.2, mine are shetland/welsh cross and 9.2 and 10 hh respectively.

No more than £400, preferably less.

pedilia · 17/04/2008 14:38

are you selling horseshoe?

horseshoe · 17/04/2008 14:45

No buying my share horse.

I was thinking maybe £450 so that does sound spot on.
