Suggestions for dog walking business name…

My surname is Yapp and I know there’ll be a good pun out there somewhere that I could use for a dog walking business name as I am considering starting my own business and am starting to plan but can’t think of a name. What suggestions would you have? I am also open to names that you think would work well without Yapp in it too! Thanks in advance ☺️

Honestly, as a dog owner who uses a dog walker (i.e. your potential client), "yappy" doesn't have very positive connotations for me. Being yappy isn't desirable dog behaviour. Yappy dogs are often anxious, overwhelmed or angry dogs. Yappy dogs are the ones we're usually trying to avoid when out for a walk, because they make my dog anxious.

Thinking about the various local dog walkers near where I live, I think an attractive dog walking business name can be one that emphasises the benefits of walkies to the dogs (e.g. "happy hounds") or conjures up a nice picture of where you'll be walking the dogs (e.g. "paws in the grass" or "woodland walkies").

Yapp conjures up images of small yappy dogs which may put off owners of large breeds from booking. IMHO.

Doesn’t answer your question but the best name I’ve ever seen for a groomer is Hairy Styles.

I think as PP have said, I don't think Yapp has very positive connotations really. I think go for a simple name like Walkies.

I'm a dog walker and have to say "Yapp" doesn't conjure up a great image for me either 😬
