Does anyone mind revealing what their monthly or yearly pet insurance cost is please? We pay almost £100 every month and it's killing us! We bought a pedigree puppy 7 years ago and it turned out said pup had von willebrands (undeclared obviously and both breeder and stud dog owner said all tests including bloods had been carried out). Due to statute of limitations it is too late to sue either party.
We will never rehome our dog, they are too precious, but the cost on top of x2 nursery fees and a mortgage increase is prohibitive. So are we being taken for a ride, or do other pet owners with pets that have pre-existing conditions pay similar? Obviously, I will also shop around but wanted to gauge opinions first
