Naming a new puppy!

Options are Harper and Violet, which pairs better with Phoenix?

We also have two cats - Annie and Hattie!

Violet Is .better. I've a weird aversion to Harper I recoil when I see and hear it.

Those are people names? Grin
Whatever happened to 'Spot' and 'Lucky'?

I am trying to imagine calling out to them in the park-Violet and Phoenix are a real mouthful together.

I think Harper is easier with Phoenix.

Old hat when was the last time you heard Lucky 😂

Phoenix is quite a mouthful does your dog answer to her name although I'm assuming she's a she !

Mrsjayy, next door's budgie was called 'Lucky'. It flew away never to be seen again though. Grin

I quite like the idea of a dog called Violet. She'd be the envy of the dog park ❤️

A two-syllable name isn’t exactly a ‘mouthful’…OP isn’t asking the dog to spell it 😂

This is fair 😂

Har-per is much easier to call out when you're training than Vi-o-let - we adopted a dog called Violet and she became Veevee almost immediately.

Phoenix and Harper go better

Raffington55 · 31/05/2024 20:40

Harper goes better with Phoenix I think - but I prefer the name Violet.
