Hi, We took the heartbreaking decision to put our beloved cat to sleep as he had extensive kidney disease. A couple of weeks before, I had noticed a change in his behavior and he wasn't eating at all so we had took him to the vets.

Now I feel lost that he not here and I keep seeing him around house. I miss searching for him and giving him attention. As a pet, he grew up with us and got me through hard times ( loss of both parents and father in law etc). My cat was sooo much better to interact with rather than most people I know. Had anybody else experienced the same feelings as me?

Oh I'm sorry, that's so hard. You must miss him so much. He sounds like he had a lovely life with you. Xxx

I'm so sorry for your loss. What you are experiencing is absolutely normal and you have to let yourself go through the grieving process. You will reach a stage one day where you remember the happy times with pleasure, and perhaps feel ready to fill the cat-shaped hole in your life with a new feline friend, but it takes time Flowers
