iCod don't even go there Girlfriend.

It must be sad for you, but it sounds like you didn't give them much of a chance.

PestoMonster · 02/04/2008 17:41

That'll be so much better for them then. They can be feral to their hearts' content

FrannyandZooey · 02/04/2008 17:43

cod that was not like you to drag stuff up from other threads

Oh thats nice cod

I am suddenly regretting all the times I haven't bitched at you when you throw yourself into a thread entirely inappropriately.
If thats how we do things these days.

You are a fickle fecker

BabiesEverywhere · 02/04/2008 18:04

My DH and I spend many years trapping, neutering and when possible taming and rehoming feral cats

TBH if these kittens were truly feral, they would not be safe to be around Cod's children. If a child had cornered one, they would be far more dangerous than a domestic moggie.

Sadly I think Cod did the right thing and the shelter did the wrong thing in adopting out feral kittens to a family home.

I don't agree with rehoming cats because you get bored, or they get old/sick...but feral cats are a different issue all together.

TheHonEnid · 02/04/2008 18:08

god i dont blame you

they sounded utterly dull

CountessDracula · 02/04/2008 18:08

V sad but I think you did the right thing
They will be much happier roaming free than being stalked by a family of fish

MamaG · 02/04/2008 18:09

poor ickle kittens

noddyholder · 02/04/2008 18:11

I had 2 littens like that cod haven't see your previous therads but they never responded to us either and I ahve ahd cats all my life (and still have)One started pooing on the table and nowhere else and as I couldn't clean it up for health reasons we took them both back and they were rehomed in teh country.the lady took a photo of them in theri new home which was sweet.Don't feel too bad some cats are meant for farms and some for fluffy cushions

I have resisted ranting but I can't leave it.

Cod, you so often post a 'funny' comment when it is entirely inappropriate and often cause offence.
But of course you are such a mn celebrity you get away with it.

Right now what you said has fucking upset me, I have been busy doing other things and not dwelling on it whilst DH is away but you just made it all flood back.

Plus a tad shitty to suggest support on here is conditional?

noddyholder · 02/04/2008 18:14

I am going to start calling you girlfriend too if thats ok

misdee · 02/04/2008 18:22

i am very surpirsed that the CPL housed feral kittens with a family. i read about taming feral kittens a while ago and its a long drawn out process and doesnt always suceed.

were they proper feral or just wild in a sense?

when do we get to see fabio the 2nd and nero?

i adore cats, but due to dd1 allergies cant have any. i make a big fuss of SGK cats, especially her big fluffball. her female cat keeps nipping my head though

Maidamess · 02/04/2008 18:25

I think you have a point dwp.
