We have a puppy who sleeps in the spare bedroom in her crate overnight and for naps during the day. We've been using a radio or the TV to play music continuously throughout as she barks and whines if she hears us moving around the home but sleeps soundly with music on. Our current radio is battery operated and we're constantly replacing the batteries or having early wake up calls due to radio dying. Due to moving our rooms around the TV is no longer in the room she sleeps in and we can't afford another one so we're looking for something that plays music or at least some sort of noise continuously and can do so for 8+ hours. Something that can be plugged in and wouldn't need batteries. Also something that doesn't need to be connected to a phone or other device. Is there such thing as a plug in radio? Would an Alexa type speaker work for this?
