try googling your local rescue centres
blue cross
rspca
etc

do try your local rescue centres - they always have loads and local vets will have lists and notices too

does it have to be kittens? Our 2 cats (one at a time) have both been around 7 when we've rehomed them - they've been absolutely fab.

Kittens are destructive, hard work & are a 15 year commitment.........

Choosing an adult cat means you know their personality (to an extent) before you get them.

There is Battersea Dogs Home in Old Windsor - they do cats/kittens as well as dogs.

I got my cat from a RSPCA rescue centre when she was about 1.5 yrs old and it's one of the best things I've ever done.

She's such a sweetheart

check out www.animalrescuers.co.uk you should also get a pair of cats instead of just 1. Good luck!

Well we got a kitten from the Humane society and she's not destructive, just a gorgeous bundle of fluff. Pick one that appears sociable, give them a good scratching post and toys and ensure they sleep/stay in one room when you leave them alone so they aclimatise well to start with.

There used to be the Cats Protection League. If it still exists contact them and see what advice they can give you.
