Ours has developed the habit of when she has finished her tea, if there is anything on the floor nearby eg. her mouse toy or as in the case yesterday - a scrunched up piece of paper, she will pick it up and put it into her food bowl.
I think it's a bit like putting your napkin on your plate to show you've finished!
She seems to do it more when she's not that impressed with the food

my boy cat thinks he's a dog, and he knocks on the door to come in

One of mine says hello Clear as anything.Dp taped it on one of those mini recorders and took it to work they think we're mad!

Mine climbs up the little panes of glass on the front door when she wants to come in. She's also started drinking out of my glass of water on the bedside table, I take a bottle of water up to bed with me now.

One of mine thinks he is a dog .. he brings you his mouse or toy and waits for you to throw it for him ...he then runs off and brings it back for you to throw again .. repeat ad infinitum!

Ours are just lunatics. They jump at little marks on the wall, or a hole where a nail/screw had been and will spend hours trying to catch it!
They jump at the door handles too to let themselves in/out.

I've just put a funny photo on my profile of zephyr when her sister walked in with a buster collar on....

Toadys funny was to climb under the duvet but sleep just so that her head was sticking out. Looked like she had covered herself up & settled down for a good nap

Mine used to play fetch too, and he would pick the hairs out of the bath plughole for me. He loved playing fishing with potato peelings and growled like a dog. Also used to scare the hell out of potential suitors with his hard stares!!

My bad cat comes in from outside and washes her front paws in her water bowl. She dabbles her paws in and swishes them around. Then she walks off leaving muddy prints everywhere. Drives me nuts!

Mine cries over a pom pom ball. It starts off being 5-6 sewn in a caterpillar state but ends up being 5-6 loose balls as she wrecks them in her excitement.

mine will only drink from the toilet! bvut recently we keep finding "dribbles" on the toilet seat and a smallish piddle on floor immediately in front of toilet, Its defo not us leaving the dribbles and the cat lives upsatirs! think he waants to be human. LOL

Mine often falls in the bath (full of water)whilst supervising bath times perched on the side.. He adores the bathroom. Races up the stairs when you get up to go to the loo and sits on the side of the bath and stares at you til you flush. He drinks from the toilet rather that his bowl.

He loves visitors and runs to greet people when they knock at the door. He adores the smell of BO and goes into raptures if we have smelly workmen types in the house. He rubs his head in their sweaty pits when they stop for tea breaks.

He's a nutter really, totally eccentric. Loves a game of fetch, his best mate is the dog who he chases round the house.

I love him to bits...........

Oh and he watched the full documentary about tigers the other night from start to finish. He sat 12 inches away from the telly for an hour, occasionally reaching up to tap the screen when a good bit came on. The secon the titles came on he stood up and walked away.

My youngest cat squeaks at her water fountain, just sits beside it for a good 15 minutes squeaking. She's a special kind of stupid, but I love her very much.

ClairePO · 03/04/2008 21:43

assdoc my mum's cat watched that, she even took a pic LOL!

assdoc · 06/04/2008 20:31

She must be a really smart cat u=if she can use a camera!

My boy hasn't watched telly since the last tiger episode but has just settled down for this weeks one. Bless him.
