Are female or male cats more affectionate? I've in my had boys before

Only ever had boys. Mine always seemed what more affectionate than my friend's female DCats.

I've had both, and have noticed no difference. I have a girl cat now and she's very affectionate.

No difference in my experience of many cats throughout my life, just depends on their personality.
