I have had a quote from my vet to remove some teeth from my cocker, which is double the price my sister recently paid at another vets anout 10 miles away. Has anyone change vets because of a similar thing, and was it a easy process? Will my new vet ] if i decide to go with her] be able to get all my dogs records of my current vet.Can i just go to the other vets for the operation, and still stay with my current vet...or would they be unhappy with this arrangement.
Thanks

You need to understand if the two quotes are directly comparable as there is a big difference between removing loose incisors and a surgical extraction of canines. Does one quote include blood tests and intravenous fluids and the other does not. Really you need itemisation side by side and know what each item is.
Yes switching practices should be easy, but you will need to give permission for your notes to be transferred. Though many practices at the moment are closed to new registrations so you would need to check if the other practice will accept you.
