Best flea bombs for home with toddler please? The fleas are weak and prime for the slaughter..

Indorex

Indorex or RIP. Bear in mind nothing kills flea eggs so before you treat with the chemicals, turn up your heating for 48 hours and hoover regularly - this hatches out as many eggs as possible so you clear more of the environmental burden. Spray hard floors too - the eggs live in the dust bunnies…

Make sure the animals are treated with something with persistent activity so that any missed eggs that hatch later will be killed once they jump on the animal.

If you have a toddler - you might prefer a tablet flea treatment (rather than spot on) for the animals. For the house, if you treat with one of the aerosols then as long as you ventilate well, you can go back in after a couple of hours.

Thank you! I’ll get some of that now. Both animals are on tablets when we see fleas on them, the bastards are getting desperate as they’re jumping onto me now and most bugs avoid me😂
We haven’t had to bomb since having a small one, would you recommend just getting all toys that he might put in his mouth in the dishwasher maybe? Just to prevent any toxins going on them? Or just antibac them all afterwards?

I’d just make sure all the toys are in boxes / packed away so the spray can’t settle on them. (I prefer the aerosol cans over ‘bombs’ because you can at least spray it at the carpet instead of it filling the whole room).

Are you only treating the cats once you find fleas? Maybe try treating them monthly with a spot on and that should help stop them getting hold in the house. Ask the vet which treatment would be best in your area

Now we’ve got a hotel service for the fleas it’s as the tablets say when seen but prior we were regularly using spot on.

Which spot on?
Fipronil based (like frontline) is often not effective. I get ours from the vet
