My male cat keeps peeing on my bed??

I have literally not a single clue as to why my male cat keeps weeing on my bed. He has done it twice this month, and a few times throughout the year. He's not long been spayed, and I thought that would help but it hasn't.

Is there anything I can do to stop him? I try my best to keep him out of the bedrooms but sometimes he just sneaks in without me even knowing.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

@Bethandfreddie I know it’s not the same but our dog keep peeing in the kitchen until we had him done hoping that it would stop him but he done it a few times after but then after 5-6 weeks he stopped completely vets said it takes a while for all the hormones to completely go

You will have to replace your mattress he probably smells his scent and counts it as a loo.

He is an outdoor or indoor cat? Any signs of stress?

No idea here either but that's bloody awful. One of mine only did it once but he was very poorly at the time.

You are going to need a new mattress.

He probably did it first because 1. He wasn't neutered yet and 2. He loves you.

Now the mattress smells of 'somewhere I should wee' so he's carried on.

His wee never actually went through to the mattress x

He’s scenting your property as a sign of affection, however disgusting it may be! I had the same issues with one of my cats throughout her whole life. She’d scent my handbags, clothes, anything she could get basically. Although I did love her dearly it was hard to deal with and not get annoyed over. The only thing you can really do is close your bedroom door and not give him any access to actually do it. Feliway spray can be good for some cats. Is she neutered?
