Beds for large, highly-strung dogs

I am looking for a new bed for my Flatcoat retriever who likes to spread! She has been using the sofa but she has taken over more than the original area designated for her! The sagging cushions are now bad for her back and anyway, I want to reclaim it for humans. Does anyone have experience of those really fluffy circular beds with raised edges that are supposed to be good for calming anxious dogs? My girl is over-active and I think this 'safe-space' type bed could be good for her. Recommendations would be gratefully received.
This isn't my dog, but an example of the type of bed I mean.

We had one given to us although our DDog is much smaller. I can't say that it made any difference really.

I had a Tuffies nest bed for my lovely dog OP, she was a lot smaller than your gorgeous dog! They come in lots of different sizes though. She loved it because she could curl up inside and the sides would keep out the draughts or she would rest her head over the side so she wouldn’t miss what was going on, even when she was asleep.

highly recommend

This thread has reminded me that it’s time to swap the lightweight covers over to winter fleecy ones.

Cozee Home on QVC do one but I find that on those type of beds the middles are actually not that supportive and all the floof is round the edge . My dog has a Costco ( Kirkland ) round bed , they do a newer type now which we’ve not tested and a Slumberdown paws cushion type , which is thick and maintains its thickness after use .
