Cats and collars...

I had an earlier thread about how to track my wandering cat- I really, really want to know where she goes doting her periodic walkabouts. I am pondering a Tractive- but she doesn't wear a collar. I've never had a cat that wore a collar. How hard do you think it would be to get her used to a collar-particularly one with a teaching device on it? She's 2 years old and quite small. And crucially, would she be safe? Her patch is very countrified and she's a climber.

I put a tracking collar on my cat…he sabotaged it by dunking the tracker in his water bowl Envy

He also ditches every collar I’ve ever put on him so now he goes around naked, then tells me very loudly about his day when he gets home!

I don't agree with collars on cats. Even the so-called "quick release" ones don't always work and they can be very dangerous.

@margotrose I don't either. I am just so desperate to know where she goes during her periodic absences! We suspect she's a high level MI5 agent running secret missions- but it would be nice to know for sure! But we will probably have to remain in the dark.
