Hi our cat (5 months) well house trained, no accients has decided then when outside he will be a lazy arse and just shit in midle of lawn and no even cover it up! Help! Why doing this? I have young DS and there's more picking up his crap than their would be a dog.. How can I deter him from this? Any advice gratefuly received.

Also climbs the outside walls of house to get back in top window! Think got work cut out.

Where would you like him to poo?

You can buy cat repellant stuff from B&Q and other places. I looked as my neighbours had an issue with my cats. You put it over the area quite frequently and it deterres them from going there. It's definately worth looking into. If you get him used to going else where before the summer comes then you might not have to worry on if the stuff is child friendly which i don't know.

Just wondered if you were wanting him to use a litter tray inside! If he's litter trained, you could try moving a tray outside to a spot where you are happy for him to go, then hopefully he will keep going back there when you eventually move the tray away.
