my cat has learnt to fetch

she plays all the time with a pipe cleaner and will fetch it, bring it back, and drop it next to you for you to throw again. she watches tv too. football's her favourite.

Mine does that with the pull-off ring things from the top of milk bottles. He brings them to me and puts them right in my hand, then when I flick them away he chases after them and brings them back. He's better trained than my mum's dog.

they're great aren't they? she goes mad for her pipe cleaners.

My old cat used to do this with a ball of foil.

my cat used to bring the post to us in bed when she was a kitten .

she's putting it in our shoes now. and taking it out again. a bit like Eeyore with his burst balloon and empty honey pot.
