Do you have experience caring for exotic pets? Offer insights into the specific needs and challenges they present.

Yes, in the past I have had Egyptian Fruit Bats, African Banded Mongoose, a Ringtailed Coati, a Springhaas, a fox, many, many reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, owls and birds of prey, ornamental pheasants, Peafowl, exotic rodents, the list goes on...

Don't do it - I now feel totally ashamed at having kept all these wonderful living things as 'pets' - no matter how you try, you cannot replicate their environmental, social, dietry and behavioral needs. I now firmly believe that no living thing should be kept for the entertainment of humans.
Just don't!

Ah bless you @AsanteSana , just remember that we mostly viewed captive pets in a different way , in the past , and I'll bet you were very kind and loving towards them and gave them the best life that you could at the time.

OP I'm sorry but I don't agree with keeping exotics , they really should be kept in domestic environments.
Im also against keeping rabbits, hamsters, Guinea pigs etc...

So many exotics are cruelly smuggled and transported around the world.
