We had to make that difficult decision on Thursday. He was so loved and a joy to have around. Such a loyal cat, followed me around the house and part of our family the last 10 years. I miss him terribly, I know in time it’ll get better but god it hurts so much. I’m so heartbroken.

Oh what a beautiful boy. I'm so sorry for your loss, it's utterly heartbreaking isn't it. It does get easier with time but you never forget them. I still miss my childhood cat sometimes and I'm 40!

I guess it's the price you pay for the joy and love they bring. I know that doesn't make it any easier though. Take care Flowers

It's awful isn't it. Sorry for your loss - he was beautiful I had my 14 year old cat put to sleep last Sunday so I can understand how you feel. I feel so lost. It will take time.

So sorry to hear that. Try to keep busy which I find helps but it’s bloody difficult and my house is so quiet without him.

Thank you for your kind words. He was my third cat that I’ve put to sleep over the years and the memories of them never goes.

Oh I'm so sorry. The grief is very real isn't it? It's heartbreaking and painful.

It will get better. Take care x

What a beauty. I'm so sorry. I understand the pain. When I lost my last cat the grief was terrible. I realised then that losing a pet hurts no less than losing a human. Allow yourself to grieve. What really helped me was remembering all the love we shared. I felt so happy that I'd given my cat such a loving home and a happy life.

Pets are family. Losing them hurts like hell and it does take time to learn to live with that.

I really miss all three of my pets - my cat who was put to sleep on Christmas Day 2017 at the age of 18, my great big, daft and lovely labrador boy who was PTS in November 2019 aged 15 and our cocker spaniel who died in October 2021 aged 16.

I still get very choked up thinking of them sometimes now.

Sympathy to you. What a beautiful cat.
