kong filling suggestions welcome too - for training treats I've recently switched from commercially prepared titbits to cooked and chopped tesco value sausages and little cubes of cheese. it would be nice to ring the changes a bit, the smellier the better.

if you google kong recipes you'll get loads of ideas. If I remember I've used banana - frozen it first, peanut butter and loads more.

DOnt use kongs now as have 3 dogs and it causes arguments.

Liver, garlic and flour... dogs go MAD for it.

Seriously - even the most delinquent non-returners at the dog school come running when we use this!

blend liver and garlic together, add enough flour to make a dough.

Cook until spongy to the touch. Cool. Cut in to 1cm cubes (or even 0.5cm) Freeze - NO dog has failed to like it at the dog school.

Not good for the kong though - it is too rich for that.
