Cat has itchy skin.

My car has itchy skin, he has a few scabs, does anyone know any treatments I can try before I take him to the vets? Thanks

It could be an allergy to parasite bites so you could try treating the cat against fleas etc and any cats she hangs around with.

Steroids might help a lot so a vet visit could be the way to go

Might be a flea allergy. I'd go to the vets.

There's not much you can do until you know the cause, so you'll need to go to the vet first. Flea allergy is a common cause, but there are others. One of mine had this recently and in her case it looks like a food allergy, so if you've changed his food recently then it's worth considering.
