I’m thinking of rehoming an older dog from a breeder, one that’s around 1 to 2 years old. However I’ve never adopted or bought an older dog before so want to make sure I’m asking the right questions. One of the things I’m a little wary of is around potential pre existing health conditions and whether or not the breeder decides to disclose them to me before purchase, and whether that will affect my insurance coverage. Does anyone know what would be the best questions to ask to ensure that I can make a well informed purchase?
