Why are these chews so expensive!

Our 9 month old pup has had a various amount of chews . Deer antler £15, buffalow horn£11 and most recently a coffee wooden stick£9
he is a lab mix and is a chewer !

But why is it these styles of chews are expensive ? I don't remember dog chews being so expensive and apart from pets at home or an independent pet shop no where sells them!

Because owners have been fooled into thinking they are good for them because they are natural.

I don't use any of those style chews as they're not great for the teeth and can do a lot of damage.

Why not use natural, softer chews instead?
