Calling all psychics/pet detectives can anyone help me find my cat!!!

We have just moved house, the cat has got out and gone missing. Last seen on Thursday. Any tips for finding runaway cats welcome....

How far are you from your old house? Most likely he will be heading in that direction. Might be worth getting the new owners to look out for him / her and offering food if they see him.

Call all the vets in the old and new area in case he is taken in there. Get lots and lots of posters up on lamp posts around both areas to let people know he is missing, and consider knocking on a few neighbours doors too (good way to meet the neighbours too)
If you have pet insurance they may cover you for advertising costs when a pet goes missing.
If he is not microchipped please consider getting him chipped asap once you get him back.

Yipee!! Don't forget the microchip thing though if he isn't already.
