Which cat breed?

Which cat breed should I own?

I read that there are a lot of cat breeds but those British short hairs are pretty famous and cute.

Any other cat breed options that are friendly and cute as well?

Definitely a ragdoll, they are incredible. Follow you around everywhere you go in a gentle, non-demanding way. Can be trained to give paw, play fetch etc. Stunningly beautiful.

Ragdolls will be best.

We have a rescue Burmese - gorgeous and very playful, loves to be close to people all the time — but very demanding! But I agree with others that a mog is perfect too.

How can you say “this breed will be the best” when we don’t know the OPs circumstances. It might not suit her to be followed around… she might want an indoor only… she might have OCD and not want a long haired cat. So many variations. I’d think about what lifestyle you have and work from there… the temperament of the individual cat seems more pertinent than the colouring. ( I have a calico rescue who is affectionate, plays fetch and has not scratched up my furniture at all…. I can’t say that about all calicos.)

I have a British shorthair tuxedo cat. She is very cute and very affectionate 🤗

@Divebar2021 Haha - yes! All the calicos I've ever known have been complete nightmares, so I'm glad yours is confounding my prejudices!
