So I have a kitten, beautiful 11 week old sphinx. Absalute gem of a cat. Had a runny tummy soon after returning home taken-to the vets for first jabs and worming. 2 days later blood in poo. Ring vets it's apparently common. Still has a runny tummy. Slightly pink bottom but when he poo's his actual bum hole (sorry tmi) sticks out and is red then goes back in once he's done. Now I am panicking..... 1 poor baby. 2 insurance isn't covered until 6 more days (obviously he'll have a vet check tomorrow I rang this eve with pics-they asked for emails and they haven't got back) he's abso fine in himself bottoms back to normal thank god. But is this normal I am beside myself.

Thanks x

Had this same situation with one of our kittens, special diet for a few weeks sorted it, though in some cases a prolapse could need an operation. Hope all turns out alright for you.

The vet prescribed the food, this was a few years ago now so would be worth having a chat with your vet to see what they recommend. Good luck.
