My cats 1 years old, she's spade and is a rescue. Not long after we got her, she vomited up a worm. She had been looking rounder but there was no other symptoms, until she vomited and I thought she'd just put on weight with being fed regularly. We took her to the vets with the worm and they said it was a roundworm and gave her a 3 month worming tablet.
They said new worms may grow, so to give her another tablet in three months time, which is this month, so she's had her second treatment about a week ago but she's still looking quite round in the stomach area and yesterday evening, she started going into her litter tray more often.
She's not meowing or showing any signs of discomfort. She goes in the litter tray as normal but she squats for a long time like she's doing a big wee but there's only a small amount of wee there and not long after she's finished, she goes back into her tray and does another little bit.
I'm not sure if this is worm related or if she has something else wrong with her? We're going to book a vet appointment tomorrow morning but I just wondered if anyone has any ideas of what is wrong with her?
Symptoms wise, she's eating, sleeping, playing normally but has a round belly and is frequently urinating small amounts. Thank you
